What are we about?
I’m Titus Jr Laxa, chief executive officer of Kapatid Ministry, inc., a nonprofit partnering with churches for community work and church planting. I’m also a pastor in Llano Christian Baptist Church in Caloocan City, Philippines. I’m married to Rezy, a registered nurse and currently the household manager of the Laxa Residence in San Fernando, Pampanga.
We love the Lord, we love coffee, and we love talking about things into the late night.
This blog is a compilation of random writings, notes, sermons, and teachings that I work on. Most of these writings have Filipino Evangelical Christian (and hopefully Baptist) Young Adults in mind. It is difficult to be a faithful Christ-follower and a millenial (or Gen Z) in today’s world. Hopefully, the Lord will bless and use some of these (if any) to be helpful and useful to them to (1) understand the culture we live in and the challenges that come with it, and (2) restore, encourage and teach them to remain faithful in Christ despite the challenges they face.

Yes it’s our blog with scribblings about matters that matter
All of these are free. As Michael Foster puts in his substack, “Freely we have received, freely we give,” I hope to do the same. However, if you insist on supporting in any way, do consider supporting the programs of Kapatid Ministry, inc., the non-profit that my father left behind for me to continue in.
